.'Good' Morning.

You know it's going to be a great day, when it starts off melting things with your hair straightener... oy vey! It can only get better, right?

.Snuggle Bugg.

The other night was like every other night. I, of course, was facebooking on my phone and Ethan was playing "jewels" on his phone. Not lame at all.

Anyway, I was just sitting there, stalking people like usual :P ... then I looked over to see what Ethan was doing. Much to my surprise, Reid had not only made his way up onto the bed... but he had squeezed himself in between us and was sharing a pillow with Ethan! What in the world?!

First of all, what dog sleeps like that? And secondly, why would he think that this would be ok?! The dog has a mind of his own.

.Racing Stripe.

This man may be a little upset when he sees just how much his bike hates his jacket right now.

.Baptized in a Pant Suit.

The following story took place at work this week:

I got a box in the mail the other day. And there they were. Four of them. Royal blue. (icky color, but they match the old ones, so that's not even the bad part.) I waited almost all day to take them out of the box because I was super nervous.

Finally, things slowed down in the afternoon, so I figured the best way to show them to people was by modeling. I mean clearly.

So, I took one out (Adult Medium) I saw that the zippers didn't go all the way down (which I thought they would). So, I decided that I would just crawl in it from the bottom. Like a dress. But much to my absolute surprise. Can't do that either. Oh right, that's cause the robes are PANTS!! Are you freaking kidding me? Who sells baptism robes that aren't robes.. they're stinkin' pant suits! Good- ness!

Whatever, I put it on, discover that they are made out of the same material as most tarps. They feel extremely hot and waterproof. Yikes!

I then stroll down the hall in the office and just stand in Ruthie's (Worship Leader) door way. "Oooohhhh mmmmyyyyy..... those are not really the robes, are they?"

"Oh yeeaaahhhh!!" <-- Laughing Hysterically

"They can't be! They're terrible!"

"Oh I know... and look! They're pants!"

"Ohhhh noooo!!"<-- Starts to Awkwardly laugh at/with me.

By this time there is enough commotion that Matt (Pastor) comes out to see what's going on

Ruthie: "Matt, look at how awful these are!"

Matt: "What are you talking about? If you see these next to the mini dresses (the old robes), they are 100 times better!"

Ruthie: "But look at the sleeves! They are soo poofy and it looks like she has shoulder pads in there!"

*All I could do was stand there and laugh til my stomach hurt*

Matt: *Trying to smash down the shoulders* "They're not that poofy." But then he had touched it and says "But it does feel like you are wearing a tent."

I lost it!

And I was wearing boots that had heals and we decided that they were not helping the cause.

By then, Joelle (Youth Pastor) had joined the conversation and even put on the Adult XL!! It looked like she gained 100 pounds! And we decided that her shoulders were actually not as poofy. (Must be the XL was sewn to be more 'manly').

Some staff members were trying to petition to send them back.

Matt asks me what I think...

"I love them! I think we should embrace the robes!"

I can not wait for the baptism on Easter!

.Writer's Block.

Well I sat down to write a blog entry today. But, Reid had other plans for me. I sat at the computer in Ethan's office and started to log in, just when he took position under the desk. Then he works his way over and lays his head on my lap and whines until I give him 100% of my attention! So outside we went to play some keep-away. But I had to take this picture first because he's just too cute! Maybe something more interesting tomorrow?!

.Arch Nemesis.

Let me introduce you to my arch nemesis!

That’s right, a paper towel dispenser. It is evil. It is out to get me. All I want to do is wash my hands and then dry them off. It sounds simple, right? Well this piece of blasted equipment is not about to let that happen! To the untrained eye you would think that all you have to do is pull down on that paper towel and this task would be complete. However, this is far from the truth! After washing your hands you first must shake, wave and fist pump your hands to get off as much water as possible…or else…

Yup. It mocks you. Flat out tells you, you suck at life. It generously gives you two little corners of paper towel that your too wet thumbs can peel off and not a scrap more.

We fight on a daily basis, but hear this paper towel dispenser… you may have won this battle, but I will win the war.

Don’t even get me started on the tap dance I have to do to get the faucet to turn on.
